How to get to Thy

Participants pay for their travel themselves, but we do have limited funds to help pay part of the travel costs for participants who would not otherwise be able to attend.  If you wish to apply for these funds, please send us a separate  letter with your application explaining your situation and include an estimate for your travel ticket cost. A separate committee will examine these requests and see what help we can offer.

From Copenhagen it is possible to continue either by plane or train.

By plane, choose Aalborg airport.

If you fly to Copenhagen and your bags are not registered all the way through to your final destination, you must pick up your luggage and re-register for connecting flights in a domestic terminal. In this case please make sure to have at least one hour time between flights.

You can take the train from the Airport or from Copenhagen Central Station to Thisted (Thy), a beautiful trip of approx. 5 hours.
